As an artist, I present the most ordinary things with a sense of absurdity. What does a camera really do? Is it merely a tool for recording reality? In my view, my images exist somewhere between reality and fantasy—neither fully one nor the other.
I strip away the connection between subject matter and apparent meaning, creating a space where I feel most at home. I never wish to constrain my work with specific themes or subjects, allowing for endless possibilities. My hope is that each viewer will bring their own unique interpretations and emotions to my work, as everyone experiences art differently.
With time, everything changes. I have always been fascinated by capturing the fragile and transient nature of moments—those fleeting instances that will never return to reality. Thankfully, digital photography allows me to preserve them, suspending them in time before they disappear forever.
